Ph.D. in Math with Statistics Concentration

Students interested in Statistics can pursue the Ph.D. in Mathematics, but in a program with concentration in Statistics. The requirements are the same as for all Ph.D. students in Mathematics, except that students in this program will take a Qualifying Examination in the areas of General Statistics, Probability/Statistical Inference, and Real and/or Complex Analysis.

If additional help is needed, students are encouraged to rely on their instructor as a primary contact for issues in their class. If technical issues persist, contact IT Support, with the student's name, University ID number, the affected MATH or STAT class and section, and a brief description of the issue with any related screenshots; many issues are related to the browser and operating system the student uses, so including that information will be helpful as well.
